The Launch Weekend Church Video

This introduction video was created for Liberty Church BR as a tool to utilize in creating a “Buzz,” for the church’s upcoming Launch. Years in the making, this congregation needed a church video as captivating as the members of the church themselves.

This launch weekend video gives a brief overview of the church’s mission, character, and identity. But more importantly, it does a great job of creating a “Buzz,” for their upcoming special event – their launch.

Because Liberty is a diverse, modern Church, we chose to go with a fun and uplifting motif for this church video. Your videos should always reflect your identity as a church!

We incorporated a LOT of Baton Rouge imagery in the video. After all, your church plant is called to serve in an individual community right?

We included photos from previous church events, even grabbing still shots from previous church videos when necessary. Why should there be a bunch of photos of random people throughout? No stock images here – Your video should reflect YOUR church.

We kept this video short and concise. We only included the information that was needed to generate the buzz, as well as contact information for those interested in learning more about the church and its mission, location, and service times.

The end result was an energetic video that received 800+ views in a matter of days. Not too bad for a Church Plant!

A Launch video for a local church.

They approached us with a desire to create a church intro video to announce their upcoming launch. We decided to keep it simple, utilizing pictures from the church’s previous events, as well as their history.

This (much like all of our motion graphic projects) was created in Adobe After Effects. Lots of bokeh elements were added to make this church intro video “pop.” Numerous cameras were added to the project to give the appearance of immersion and movement.

We kept the following Church Intro Video design principles in mind:

• Speed:
  The video is actually hosted on Vimeo, a go-to hosting platform for videos.  Their speed and reliability makes it an obvious choice for high video hosting.
• Brevity:
  We went straight to the point.  A study published by Microsoft in 2015 found that the average human’s attention span has fallen from a thoughtful 12 seconds in 2000 (when mobile tech was starting to bloom) down to 8 seconds by 2013.

The result was an example of how churches and other ministries can harness technology to spread their message of the Gospel in an effective way.  Church Intro Videos such as this one allow for easy sharing on social media.  This provides a cost-efficient way to broadcast their mission, location, meeting times, and any other pertinent information.
