Boondock Rustics is a custom furniture and cabinetry business located in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Their furniture is more than just functional, they’re works of art. As such, we knew that when they needed a recreated woodworking logo, we needed to make one that accurately represented their brand.

Because each piece of their furniture is unique, we knew that their logo had to be equally unique.

After drafting up a sketch, we came up with the following blueprint:

• The colors we chose were simple.  The client had an existing logo he just wanted freshening up.  He chose Black.  That’s right, good ole #000000.
• The title font we used was Sugarcane Press by Vintage Voyage Design. Next, the subtitle font was Celestia Antiqua Std Lastly, for the company description, we used a font entitled Trattatello, which is included with macOS.
• The client didn’t want it to be too overpowering, so we cut away at the barn and made a hand-sketched tree cutaway. Resulting in a clean yet expressive logo.
